Common questions
Response, Timing and Booking
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Spraying or pouring water, a gas smell, a complete hot water outage, or a bowl that keeps rising rather than draining are the ones that count. A slow drain or a dripping tap can generally wait for a normal booking.
How do I book?
Call (02) 9139 9963 and talk to a real person, or send your details through the contact form and we'll ring you back. Phone is faster if it's genuinely urgent.
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes. A real person answers day or night, weekends and public holidays included. Call in the small hours and you still reach someone, not a recording.
What happens after I call?
We take down what's happening, get a licensed plumber moving toward you, and confirm a fixed price on site before any work starts. No surprises between the call and the invoice.
Common questions
Pricing, Quotes and the $65 Off
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
It's taken off whatever your first job with us costs, whichever of our seven services you need. Bring it up when you book and we apply it there and then.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. A plumber assesses the job and gives you a fixed number at no charge, regardless of whether you end up booking the work in.
Does the price change once you start?
No. The figure you approve before we start is the figure on the invoice, unless you ask us to add extra work partway through.
What payment options do you offer?
Card and the usual electronic payment methods, settled once the job's complete and you're satisfied with it.
Common questions
Local Answers for Putney
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes, alongside emergency repairs. Original post-war fittings near Putney Public School and the Putney Village shops on Morrison Road are a common find once a renovation opens the walls up.
Do you handle strata and units in Putney?
Yes. Putney leans heavily toward separate houses rather than strata, but where a property does involve shared plumbing or a managing agent, we know that process well from the suburbs around us.
What suburbs do you service around Putney?
Ryde, Gladesville, Meadowbank, Mortlake and Macquarie Park, alongside Putney itself. All are a regular part of the one run.
Do you cover the suburbs next to Putney?
Yes, every one of them, with the same fixed pricing and the same licensed team regardless of which side of the boundary the job's on.
Common questions
The Legal Stuff, Made Simple
Can you check my licence number?
Yes. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #465156C, searchable any time on the official register at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
Should our workmanship let you down after the job's finished, a plumber returns and puts it right without charging you again. It's unconditional, not a limited-time offer.
Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?
Yes. Gas fitting sits alongside the plumbing licence for our whole team, so a gas job never needs a separate specialist booked in on top.
Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?
Only the safety basics: shutting off water at the meter, or leaving the property if you smell gas. Anything beyond that is licensed work in NSW, and getting it wrong can make things worse.
Still Have a Question? Call Us
Autumn leaf drop from the suburb's mature street trees brings its own wave of blocked-drain calls most years, and plenty of other questions come up that a general FAQ page can't quite cover. (02) 9139 9963 puts you through to a real person whenever you need one.
